The idea of losing weight and getting fit seems to be a goal that eludes most people. Most people sign up for an exercise program only to feel the amount of work that goes in is not equal to the results gained. Demotivated, you quit. A key factor, a healthy diet, which goes hand in hand with exercise, is often ignored.The other flaw is to focus on either a diet or an exercise program only.A sucessful plan includes both exercise and a healthy diet. Fitness is a product of the two.

Exercising must be complimented with a relevant diet. Let us say the goal is to lose fat and build muscle. The steps to reaching this goal are exercise and a healthy diet. This is an effective practice to weight loss and toning. It is said that with the right exercise and a healthy diet one can lose around 10 pounds in a month and that in addition to building muscle.

Both exercise and diets have received a fair share of criticism. This is due to unrealistic exercise programs and imbalanced diets that are rather harmful. Making smart choices will get you effective results. Let's begin with the diet. Choose a healthy diet. Our world offers varied diets to choose from but one must keep in mind that your diet must include all types of foods, namely, grains, lean meats, fruits, vegetables and healthy oils. A diet that is not well balanced with these foods is an indicator of an imbalanced diet. 

These nutrients are essential for the human body .Secondly, choose the right exercise program. Choose one according to your body type and requirement. Every person requires a different set of exercises. There is no set of exercises that is beneficial to all. Some may not even require fancy equipment or a gym to exercise with. A 30 to 60 minute walk daily could be just as effective.
The key to fitness is developing a healthy diet and good exercise habits. Some may not like the sound of Exercise and diet.In simple terms it is about eating healthy meals and being more active.While doing this keep in mind that a healthy diet and an exercise program should be made to fit the need of an individual.They may seem like a very basic reminder but keeping these two factors in mind will aid you in obtaining the fit body you have always dreamed of.
