Breath is Life

Breath is life, and to control your breath controls your mind. Once we let the breath drift and wander then the mind becomes out of control and distracted, but to be highly aware of your breathing brings a greater control and steadiness to the mind.

We all take our breath for granted yet where would we be without it?, it is the most important function of the body, and to actually take time to control and exercise the breath brings life and a heightened awareness. As we inhale, we absorb vital oxygen which feeds the brain and ensures fluid circulation.

Deeper breathing techniques take time and practice but the benefits are huge; it relaxes the mind, whereas shallow breathing aids in physical activities. It is also very important to breathe through the nose. Our nasal passage is there to filter the air and clear the sinuses, breathing through the mouth can in fact over time dry the throat and weaken the lungs.

When practicing deeper breathing techniques it is important that the body is warm as a cool head and warm body enables a restful controlled state of mind. You will never sleep with a hot head and cool feet! Hence the saying "hothead" which describes a stressed, uptight individual who is very much out of control and totally unaware of the power of the breath.

Today's society dictates a fast paced, race we all seem to be running, yet to achieve some balance and stillness to the mind simple breathing techniques and control can be easily incorporated into everyday life, and they are free!

To firstly start the process of deeper breathing we need to relax the physical state of the body which is why we sometimes practice this in a supine position first. We also learn to breathe from deeper in the abdomen rather than using quick breaths from the chest inhaling deeply and slowly and trying to exhale equally to attain equilibrium. Our inhalation should last the same time as our exhalation but inbetween cycles allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm. After this has been achieved you should progress to extending the length of time you exhale and the ideal ratio practiced is 1:2. The practice of this exercise not only strengthens the lungs but it also calms the brain and heightens the concentration levels of the mind, which in turn brings a greater control to a person.

When we use the expression "take a breath "it literally means take the time to breathe and calm oneself . When an artist or performer is about to go onto the stage, breathing techniques and control of the breath are used to bring a calmness and control to the mind to help with onstage nerves.

In yoga the practice of deeper breath control is known as Pranayama which states that the retention of air increases blood flow and energy to the body which in actual fact proves to be anti-ageing. So take time to breathe, control your breath and then you can control your mind.

How Do You Breathe?
Put your hand on your chest and a hand on your belly.
Take a deep breath. Which hand moves more?
The top hand or the bottom hand?
When we are born we are belly breathers. Watch a baby breathe and you will see that his whole body moves, butespecially his belly. In kindergarten we are still belly breathers. By fifth grade we have converted almost 100% to upper chest breathers. This learned breathing pattern is an unconsciously modeled for us by our parents and community. We change to match our high stress society.

Belly Breathing is our natural way of breathing. Take a deep breath down into the base of the lungs by using the diaphragm. Feel the abdomen expand in all directions – front, back sides. See the belly puff out a bit. That is a belly breath!

People that sing in a choir or played a musical instrument were taught belly breathing to hold the note and get a better sound…it is more effective.

Deep Breathing is a Great Relaxation Technique

The first relaxation breathing exercise you need to learn is taking deep breaths.
We can consciously try to breathe deep into the belly and slow our rate of breathing down. Sit up straight in your chair with feet flat on the floor. You can place your hands on the belly if you like. Take a deep slow breathe in, pause, and then breathe out slowly. As we slow and calm our breathing our body and mind naturally calms.

Deep abdominal breathing stimulates the relaxation response in the body. This counteracts the stress mechanism (flight or flight) and our whole body relaxes – heart rate, blood pressure, capillaries dilate, eyes relax and sense of paranoia decreases.
My Grandma always said, when you get upset, stop and take 10 deep breaths. She was right!

Wait. I don't get this belly breathing?
Deep breathing into the belly is a great way to relax. Deep breaths into the belly or abdomen is more a efficient and effective way to breathe, and helps us relax.

Sometimes our diaphragm (or the big muscle used for breathing at the base of the lungs) is stuck. Or our belly muscles are tight with tension and it is hard to take this deep belly breath.

Instead, purse your lips like you are blowing out a candle and tighten stomach muscles as blow out. Then relax abdominal muscles (flatten diaphragm) and allow abdomen to fill. This will loosen the muscles and help you relearn how to belly breath.

Eventually we want to get to the in breath as the active movement (contracting or flattening the diaphragm) and the out breath as the passive movement (relaxing the diaphragm). Keep practicing!
I get lightheaded when I belly breathe.
Sometimes when you start practicing the deep belly breathing you may feel dizzy or light headed.
Just return to your normal way of breathing, and you will become oxygen starved again and feel "like yourself" again.

Start slowly with practicing the deep breathing if you are having any light-headedness.
If it continues or you have a respiratory condition like COPD you may want to work with your doctor or a local health care professional on relearning this natural breathing pattern.

For most people, the body quickly gets used to having more oxygen (fuel) available and you will feel like you have more energy.
Some research has found that taking as few as 10 belly breaths a day, can increase energy levels 10-30%.

Breathing techniques are so simple to do that I think sometimes their overlooked as a way of healing the body. Breathing techniques are based on the concept that breath is the source of life in the body. In fact breathing techniques are now being used by Western doctors for a variety of treatments, from everything from sports performance to reducing high blood pressure, and from headaches to emphysema.

So, how can breathing techniques help with healing?

If you breathe deeply and slowly, you take in oxygen which then helps to remove waste products from the body and ultimately help to increase energy. If makes sense then that if we learned to breathe properly with the proper technique we could help the body to detoxify faster and allow it transfer more energy over to work on healing the body instead.

By breathing incorrectly you also lose a great deal of muscular energy because we tend to keep the ribs and shoulders raised abnormally high when we use the chest muscles to breathe with, rather than using the diaphragm.

The key principles of breathing techniques are based on the fact that oxygen is vital for energy production and therefore the way you breathe affects your energy levels. If your breathing is too shallow, you will not obtain all the oxygen you need for the optimum production of energy.

According to the yoga system, we inhale not only oxygen but also energy or prana. According to yoga, pranayama consists of various ways of inhaling, exhaling and retention of prana. These Breathing Techniques or Pranayamas are designed to allow the free flow of energy in the body and to purify the body's energy channels called nadis. To master pranayama, your mind pictures the exhalation of toxicity and gas while on inhale, your mind envisions clean, pure oxygen feeding your body. For several thousand years, yogis have drawn on the powerful practice of pranayama to maximize prana, or life-energy, rejuvenate the body and transform themselves. It supposed to have a great healing effects in that I heard recently claims that pranayama breathing techniques are not only effective in the control of diabetes, but can also cure the disease as well.

If you like to learn the basics Indian Pranayama techniques, the easiest way to learn the technique,is to inhale for 8 seconds and exhale through the nose 8 seconds.Remember we only need the use basic breath control here. As I said at the start of this article breathing techniques are such a simple thing that they are often overlooked as a way to heal the body, the bottom line is that they are certainly worth a try as the simple act of breathing properly can allow energy to flow into the "chakras," (energy centers located in the body) and allow the body to return to its normal healthy state.

Without sounding trite or sanctimonious I really mean this when I say be kind to yourself, love yourself and know that you are worthy of Life, Love and Living. Now how do you arrive at a place so you may enjoy these gifts? Well, let us get going then now shall we!

Listen carefully and do not just read this but listen to what I am saying because this is how I have conquered abuses of many magnitudes. Firstly, you must cry if you need to and let the tremors shake your entire body because you cannot hold any thing back – retain nothing. You must let go and allow the virus of victim shed its hold upon your psyche.

Next – you must exercise – even a small two minute walk into the air has amazing sustenance. Drink water – one ounce for every pound you weigh – but commence slowly and then gradually add grains of salt to your food until you reach one quarter teaspoon of salt per two litres of water per day.
If you do not believe you are a conqueror - then copy and paste this to your word document. Enlarge it to fill the page and then print it out. Place this in as many areas of your home as possible so your sight shall fill your subconscious with this message.

I am a conqueror'
I honestly have little regard for survivor mentality because it invites repetition and you shall never ascend to your rightful place of being a conqueror. You see – we are all conquerors we just do not know it yet. Columbus was a conqueror; Samuel Adams and John Hancock were two more examples. Here in Ireland, we have Padraig Pearse and many more to boot who strode right past survivorship and grabbed conqueror by the tails making it the essence of themselves.
Eat three good meals per day, which is vital. Let me tell you there is no way in God's beautiful world that you can aspire if you do not eat properly and healthily.
Now this next part is the key to moving forward. You can never triumph over any adversity, fear or abusive memories if you do not rise above them by not becoming them. Most people become their malady whether it is cancer, sex abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse, financial abuse, diabetes et al, thus preventing the ability to conquer.

So - do not become your abuse.
To assist you in moving forward learn to meditate because it is through meditation you learn to rise above or transcend the atrophy that sets in due to malignant fears. This is very difficult and you shall experience all the occasions you desire to remove from your psyche many times until you recognise they are memories and not actually happening repeatedly.

Please know that I know this is difficult but it is essential not to allow resistance to deter your progress. What you resist persists is not just a quote or cliché because it is true as the light of day leads to darkness so does resistance.

Ok, that is enough for now except to say commence each day with five deep breaths. If of course you feel anxious at any time of day or night, drink a glass of cool water then take five deep breaths.

Don't like what you see in the mirror? Not satisfied with your structure, hair and teeth? It is not a strange and abnormal feeling but the problem is how to deal with such negative feelings about yourself that break you down.
Try following these simple steps:
  1. Tell yourself you are unique in every way; love yourself for you are more especially from within yourself. Unless you love and care for yourself, no one will do it for you.
  2. Look at what you are good at. Not good enough? Nope, remember you are unique and you must be definitely good at something no matter how small. If you do it whole heartedly, then it comes out big.
  3. Do not mirror yourself to others. Yes, everything they touch works out well. You think so? We are not always satisfied with what we do we want more. But learn to appreciate your own effort and stop comparing yourself to people you think are perfect, they are humans they also make mistakes!
  4. Finish your tasks in time. Have a "to do list" today evening for tomorrow or early in the morning and allow flexibility as long as you prioritize the most important tasks.
  5. When did you have time for yourself? Sitting down, relaxing, appreciating you are and not expecting to be 100% at everything. Count every 1% you do, every effort counts and slowly strive for more.
  6. Develop the "I can do it syndrome"! Say "I will…." And not "I can or should", use the active verbs.
  7. Don't only and always expect to be treated well. Make other people around you happy not by always cracking jokes but also by behaving in a way that does not irritate them.If it does not matter to others it is not you but their personal problems
  • Above you are capable of changing yourself for the better, smile lighten up in whatever situation you are facing. Remember it is not always about you when things go wrong.
  • Care for your health by having a proper diet with vegetables and fruits, exercising, drinking at least 2 liters of water a day, having enough rest up to 8hrs, and avoid watching TV for more than 3hrs.
Do the following every day:

  • Use positive active words to describe yourself
  • Do good even if it does not matter to others
  • Always smile to yourself and others (avoid being overly serious)
  • Be clean: your room, house, clothes, shoes, hair, teeth, nails, eyebrows if you can….
  • Eat for your skin and overall health
  • Visit a counselor not only in a difficult situation.

Wouldn't it be great if everyone could speak up for what they wanted? That was the turning point for me. That was the point when my whole life turned around and I started to have more of what I wanted in my life. It was necessary to get to where I am today.

You see, even though I'm an extrovert and was pretty outgoing as a young person – you would have rarely heard me blurt out what was really on my mind. Everything was calculated to make sure that what ever came out of my mouth was going to meet with approval…from everybody. Oh yes, did I tell you I was
a people-pleaser too?

To not consider everyone else's opinions first before speaking was to commit social suicide. At least that's what I thought. To actually put my opinion out before I heard what others said seemed far too dangerous a proposition.

But here's the thing, one of the key success factors in attraction is asking for what you want. You don't ask – you don't get. You also usually fall into everyone else's' agenda and end up doing
what's right for them.

It's not the way to live your dream life.
So let me hold your hand for a moment and try this:
  • Pick a safe situation - like with a friend who supports you – to speak your mind. You probably have a friend that's already told you that you need to speak up for yourself
    more. Tell them that you're going to try it next time you feel inspired to and ask them to support you. Then do it.
  • Recognize after you do it that you didn't die. Celebrate that! Do a Happy Dance!
  • Keep trying it out. When the voice in your head is screaming ‘tell them!' or ‘say it!' – trust that inner guidance and say what's on your mind.
  • Recognize after you do it that you didn't die. Celebrate that! Do a Happy Dance! Yes, you need to keep acknowledging this!
  • Stop replaying all the nuances of what was said, what this person or that person did or didn't do. Just let it be – don't give it any more energy and move on to the next opportunity to speak your mind.
  • Don't go into the wrongness of you. The reality is that not everyone is going to like what you have to say – so what!? Do you like what everyone else has to say? Probably not. 

So often we make ourselves wrong for being ourselves but let me ask you this – ‘What if you were never wrong to say what was on your mind?' Yup, chew on that for awhile – it'll bring up all kinds of gunk – you'll want to release all of that. You can start with the Sedona Method or EFT. To start, just ask yourself if you're willing to destroy and uncreate your gunk? Then say ‘yes' and you're on your way.

How To Break Through Your Limitations

Are you struggling to achieve success with the law of attraction? I bet your answer would be yes. Although so many people have become aware of the law of attraction, so few people actually achieve the success that they would like to, and there's a reason for this. Most people do not incorporate the total aspect of their full being; that total aspect of a person's being is the incorporation of the physical body and the psychic body. It is the fullness of your conscious and your subconscious mind.

Two Minds, Two Worlds
In order to achieve incredible mental power, and to increase your success with the law of attraction, you must understand the dynamics between your physical world, and the psychic, spiritual world. What you create you do so in the psychic, spiritual realm, and that creation manifests in the physical realm. However, if you do not understand the dynamics of those two separate worlds, you'll find yourself always struggling to achieve success. There's another aspect of this as well, and that is the awareness of the two bodies.

Psychic Body And Physical Body
These two bodies must function in sync. If you do not understand the development of your psychic body, you will never achieve success with the law of attraction. You may, however, attract some things in your life, but you will find it very difficult to make changes, or to manifest things that are more substantial in your life. You will notice that the people who achieve success with the law of attraction do not stop with visualization and affirmation alone, instead, they develop the total aspect of their mind, they want to learn to access their psychic abilities. The also want to understand mental telepathy, how to project their thoughts so that there is more impact with their thoughts. All these combined will make for a more powerful mental process.

Enhanced Mental Power
As you increase your mental power, you break through limitations, don't stop at simple five to ten minutes of visualization, do more, train your mind in unique ways, in greater ways; and as you increase your mental training, you will find that this training enhances your ability to do many more things. You will not only be able to attract using the law of attraction, but be able to influence the conditions of reality, and to influence the conditions of other people.

It is also important that you learn how to influence the world around you so that everything can flow in the way that you like. One of the most powerful ways of increasing your mental power is through the use of something that you do every night, which is dreams. 

Dreams are a powerful gateway into the creative spiritual real. The more you learn to use your dreams in conjunction with the law of attraction the more power you will gain and the greater results you will achieve. As you increase your ability to dream, you open up a whole new world to break through any limitations you've ever had.

Put your heart in what you do

To fully access that power, you must be doing what truly matters to you.Instead of finding new excuses for your failures, look for new reasons to succeed. Truly put your heart in what you do, and what you do will do great.

Don't wait for later to do what you love and to love what you're doing. Life is made richer in increments of now, and this very moment is your moment to fully live.
Keep reminding yourself how much of a privilege it is to be where you are right now. Keep working to make the most of that unique privilege, and use it to lift all of life ever higher.

Stop making excuses about why you can't. Start making grand fulfillment out of the goodness you have.Discover how immensely thankful you can be that this moment is here. Enjoy how enthusiastic you can be about fulfilling this day's most glorious possibilities.

Now is when you can get the most out of life by putting the most into life. Now is when you can find maximum enjoyment in being authentically you.Do what you love and love what you're doing. Your greatest opportunity is now.

As desirable as it may be, success usually serves to confirm what you already know. Failure, on the other hand, teaches you something new and valuable.
Failure is painful, and that makes its positive lessons all the more memorable. And failure never has to be final, because of how it teaches you to succeed.

Though you wouldn't want to seek failure, you don't want to fear it either. It is by living with the possibility of failure, and by learning from the experience of failure, that you develop the strength to achieve.

Go ahead, step forward, and give your very best to the effort. Live and act with the genuine confidence of knowing that even when you fail you're making positive progress.
When you're willing to learn and to adjust, failure cannot keep holding you back. When the goal is clear and the purpose is truly yours, you'll find a way to make it happen.
Even when you fail, it won't be for long. Keep that in mind, and have the courage to do what you must do to live the most outstanding life you know you can live.

The Power in Gratitude

I've been thinking a lot about gratitude. I am a firm believer in the concept of, "you get what you give" and have seen it play out in my life (and the lives of others) on a regular basis. In everything we do and say in our lives, we are emitting energetic vibrations and those frequencies that we emit come back to us in the same fashion. (Some refer to it as karma). Therefore, being kind and loving will bring that back to you, as will being angry and frustrated. The more angry and frustrated you are, the more you experience things around you that are frustrating and make you angry. The more kind and loving you are, the more you get back experiences that include kindness and love. If you think about it, I'm sure you'll recognize how this concept plays out in your life.

And, that is why this practice of gratitude is so important. The more you appreciate what you have in your life, the more you receive and experience things that you can appreciate. Why? Because typically you attract into your life that which you focus upon. It is amazing (but not surprising) that during the recent presidential election two different individuals had completely different reports about the presidential debates. One interpreted things President Obama said as very condescending and inaccurate whereas the other interpreted what he said as applicable and respectful. Both watched the debate and saw completely different things because they were focused on different things. One focused on what Obama was doing wrong and one focused on what he was doing right and that is exactly what they experienced. 

That's why expressing gratitude and appreciation is so important. Each day, despite how awful the day might have been, I find and write down (in my gratitude journal) at least five things for which I am grateful. Sometimes I am simply grateful that the day is over and for the unconditional love of my animals, but regardless, I list five. The more things I list, the more I find to be grateful for because that is what I am focusing my energy and attention upon.

I use this concept in my coaching practice with my clients. I find that many of my clients who are in high level leadership roles and high pressure positions deal with a lot of negativity and are often focused on what is wrong in their environment and the problems that need to be solved. While this is clearly a part of their job, it is also important for them to focus upon what is right and what there is to appreciate. When I suggest focusing upon what is right and ask them what they are grateful for in their position, I am sometimes met with a bit of resistance; however, when they take a step back and pause for a minute, it becomes quite easy for them to articulate what they appreciate about their leadership positions. 

Does this eliminate the problems they have to solve? No, but it does allow them to approach the problems from a more positive perspective which then makes the problems easier to solve. They also notice that when they focus upon what they are grateful for with their teams, they begin to elicit more of those behaviors from the team. Focusing upon the positives and appreciating those characteristics draws more of that behavior into their environment. Yes, THAT is exactly why I keep a gratitude journal. The more I focus on appreciation, the more I receive things to appreciate.

The same holds true for all of us. Even if you are in a job situation or on a career path where you want to make changes or are unhappy, try to find five things about your current situation for which you are grateful. Even if it's that you are grateful that you know you want to find another job or a new career path; be thankful for that! Keep a gratitude journal for the next 60 days and each day write down five things to appreciate. I guarantee that by day 60, you will have many more things showing up in your life for you to keep appreciating!

This month's development tip: Start a gratitude journal specifically related to your career or leadership role. Every day write down at least 3 things you are grateful for related to your career or your role as a leader.

Habitual Negative Thinking: A Cause of Sickness

 


Commonly used thinking, known as habitual thinking, might cause an imbalance in an organism, if this habitual thinking is pessimistic or fearful. As a result, your body will produce more "bad hormones", which will drive the organism out of balance, to the state of imbalance, or simply – disease. This is the simplest way to explain the correlation between thinking and health. 

Thoughts that run through your mind will create chemical reactions in the body, and you will literally feel your thoughts. The process of human thinking is not just an intellectual process -- it is a chemical process, as well. By thinking, you create a body environment full of different chemicals, and your self-regulating system needs to take care of all these changes, just to keep your whole body in balance. This is not an easy job! 

By thinking, you create your brain's environment, and this environment will change brain activity. The brain is influenced by each of your thoughts. If you have the same thoughts for prolonged periods of time, you can change how your brain works, not just for a day or month, but possibly for the rest of your life. You have a choice to create your body's environment according to your habitual thinking. 

Whenever you think about very strong emotions, e.g. disturbing memories from your past, you are actually bringing these memories to life as though it is the same moment when you first started thinking about them. It does not matter if your strong memories are within you for a day or years, the physiological reaction will be the same. Your attention will bring the emotions back to life and seemingly current reality. You will be in the same emotional state right now, as many years ago. 

Do you know why? Because the subconscious mind experiences it in the present, you will react as though you are in the midst of the situation. In terms of emotions, the human brain cannot tell the difference between reality and visualisation or imagination! 

Neuroscience explains that you form neurological structures by giving constant awareness to a particular way of thinking. Every word, thought, feeling or emotion will make new synapse -- the junction between brain cells in the brain -- and you are changed forever. You have changed your neurological environment by making more and more synapses. Brain cells are restructured by your life experience on an everyday basis. 

The brain is changing, making you an unique individual. You are that kind of person because of the brain's neurological settings. Never forget: you are YOU not just because of your parent's genes, but also because of your peers, friends, family and your culture, that "contributed" to who you really are today. They shaped your brain's neurological map, over the many years of your life, especially the first six years of your childhood. 

Pay attention to your habitual thinking; it will shape your destiny. Choose your whole environment carefully, as much as you can. It will determine many things in your life.
Learn to think positively about yourself. The most important opinion about yourself comes from you because you shape your brain by thinking.

This is an article about the most powerful thing: the human brain. There is nothing similar. If your comment is, "How that can be true? The human brain cannot compare to the latest IT devices." My answer is, "Who made all these incredible IT devices? The human brain, of course, not the other way around!"

The evolution of the human brain is more complex than the evolution of any other living organism.
It took us millions of years to develop the most sophisticated brain on the earth.
At the beginning of evolution, 500 million years ago, we had a "primitive brain," or the brain stem. It just had survival functions, like reproduction, digestion and respiration. With the cerebellum ("the little brain"), they made together the so called first brain.
 
Roughly 300 million years ago, the second brain or midbrain appeared. Called the mammalian brain, it is theplacewhere the autonomic nervous system is located. If you never heard of the midbrain, you may have heard about the emotional brain.
 
Finally, three million years ago we developed the neocortex --a new brain, called the third brain. This is themost complex part of the human brain. It is the place of human awareness, thinking and free will. The neocortex is responsible for the evolution of intelligence, and many other functions.
Humans have a larger neocortex percentage of total brain matter, than any other mammals. Because of the huge neocortex area in the brain, we can differentiate ourselves from other mammals.

To show why human brain is so complex, I will say more about the most "recent" part of the brain: the neocortex. The neocortex is the center of higher mental functions, and is the newer part of the cerebral cortex.
You are creative, you remember, you learn, you analyze, and you are logical, because of the functions of the neocortex.

What separates you from other species?
It is your ability to consciously learn, process and remember data from your environment. The neocortex is your executive mind, your intellect, your personality and your personal identity.
If you prefer the vocabulary of computer technology, the neocortex is motherboard of your very busy computer -- the brain.

Also, you have good, or bad, behaviour because of the functions of your own neocortex.
With a bigger neocortex, you will have more ability to learn and remember. Likewise, learning is your way to make your neocortex bigger. Simply, the more you learn the more you will have the capacity to learn! Think of your brain as a muscle that needs everyday training. Without constantly learning new skills and knowledge, your brain will literally shrink! Now you can understand why the whole brain is so complex, and why the neocortex is such an important part of the human brain.

What Is in Your Mind Will Determine Your Destiny

 


We need to be honest with ourselves!
We are sometimes angry, frustrated, envious or simply unsatisfied with everything in our life because we do not want to accept a reality: Often, our own mindset has kept us away from success and satisfaction.

Our life decisions did not come from nowhere; they came from inside us, from our own way of thinking and understanding how life works. Unfortunately, many times we are simply wrong. We are ready to blame everything and everyone except the main cause: Ourselves! 

But this is natural! It could be your subconscious mind and thoughts that are against you and you do not know that. Sometimes you cannot understand your own subconscious mind, and I cannot understand my subconscious mind, as well.

That is the way minds work.
Your conscious and subconscious minds plant the seeds for a successful or unsuccessful life.
If you cannot see solutions, possibilities or opportunities in your life, your mindset will keep you stuck in a still position, unfortunately sometimes this is forever! Understandably, you may blame life, family, friends or a government. Of course, you do not want to feel responsible for your own life. It is the easiest, but the wrong way, not to feel guilty. 

If you open your mind and see and understand how your life and mind works, you are on your way to a much better life. If you change your mindset, struggles, envy, resentments and other obstacles will be the past tense for you. 

This is not an easy job to do. It will take time, effort, patience and support from your side. Your determination and desire for change will keep you on the pathway to a better life. 

Your thoughts are energy. Your determination and desire for success and your visualisation of success will create energy, and life itself will take care of the rest! That's how life works.
But, do not forget just one small step: ACTION. 

Dreaming, planning and preparing, without action is fruitless and useless. Theory works on paper, but only action works in reality. Changing your mindset is not a theory; it is an action.
If you did not achieve your goal, think about what you said to yourself about your goal.

Did you have positive or negative thoughts, too low or too high expectations about your dream? How strong was your focus and determination for achieving your dream? The thoughts you constantly hold in your mind are very powerful tools. They may give you a push to success, or hold you in a rut indefinitely. 

As I said: What is in your mind will determine your destiny.
